About the Job Opportunity


This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Legal and Compliance at MyShubhLife in Bengaluru. The role involves tasks such as vendor agreement reviews, legal consulting, legal compliance, and managing compliance and legal affairs within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Secretarial Compliance’s with respect to the Companies Act, 2013 and as per other regulator’s directives
  • Maintenance of all statutory registers and filings with regulators
  • Corporate Governance & Disclosures related compliance and implementing best practices within the organization in consultation with the management
  • Understands various lending business models, operations of NBFCs, Lending Service Providers, and upkeeps withlatest RBI regulations with respect to lending
  • Contract Management:Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents
  • Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, internal policies, and best practice
  • Stay updated on NBFC industry regulations and assist in ensuring compliance to various laws and regulations as applicable to the company
  • Assistance in filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the company with various regulators like RBI/MCA
  • To update on the latest amendments in Companies Act, RBI and other rules and regulations applicable
  • Risk Management- Identify legal risks and vulnerabilities in the organization’s operations, contracts, and policies
  • Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and implementing measures to minimize legal exposure


Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Qualified Company Secretary, preferably with LLB
  • A total of 3-5 years’ experience with Microfinance / NBFC
  • Keep himself / herself abreast with regulatory changes (latest judgements & proposed changes in the Law
  • and its impact on the functioning of the company).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent communication skills both oral and written.
