Position Details

Essential Qualifications

Candidates applying for the post should possess either:

Option 1

• LL.M. degree with 55% marks and specialization in:
  • Maritime Laws
  • Shipping Laws
  • Maritime Security
  • Port Security
  • Other maritime sector specializations

OR

Option 2

• LL.B. or B.A. LL.B. degree with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/College

Desirable Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates having:

• Relevant experience
• Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures in maritime domain
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer knowledge

Roles & Responsibilities

Selected candidates may be required to:

• Prepare cases and legal briefs
• Draft legal and policy documents
• Conduct legal research
• Prepare briefs on maritime affairs and maritime security issues
• Assist officers and faculty members in assignments
