Essential Qualifications

Option 1
- LL.M. degree with 55% marks and specialization in:
- Maritime Laws
- Shipping Laws
- Maritime Security
- Port Security
- Other maritime sector specializations
OR
Option 2
- LL.B. or B.A. LL.B. degree with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/College
Desirable Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates having:
- Relevant experience
- Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures in maritime domain
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer knowledge
Roles & Responsibilities
Selected candidates may be required to:
- Prepare cases and legal briefs
- Draft legal and policy documents
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare briefs on maritime affairs and maritime security issues
- Assist officers and faculty members in assignments
