About the Job

Commercial Lawyer with IPR, Digital and Compliance Experience, with at least 10-15 years of relevant experience

Relevant IP experience :

capable of undertaking trademark search on his own, make filing, appear before Registry, prepare responses for opposition, appear in the High Court along with our Counsel,
can evaluate copyright claims in various work we create for our design and defend and file claims.
design evaluation, registration, defending claims.
Can internally support in patent evaluation for our new technology w.r.t our design and can work with external counsel to make necessary filing and appear before concerned authority along with the Counsel.
Undertake the required IPR Compliances from time to time.
Support in putting together a brand protection strategy and brand protection initiatives.
Supporting in filing complaint and cases against domains, brands/people creating false impression of being ABG Brand
Supporting in brand acquisitions which we might have to do for few, post our brand announcement.
Post brand announcement, usage filing for our brand and compliances
Support in other IP acquisition or creation contracts, work – assignment and compliances
Support in other compliances, contracts and research.

Eligibility Criteria

E-commerce Laws and Experience
Digital Laws and experience
Commercial Contract, drafting, reviewing and negotiations.
Well versed with legal position and emerging trends
One who has hands on experience to undertake compliances, particularly legal metrology, store, labour – applicable to retail sector.
One who can draft required applications and can liase with the Government Authorities.
