Recently a plea was filed by the accused Sukesh Chandrashekar regarding the safety and security measures in the jail.
The supreme court of India asked the superintendent of the Mandoli prison located in Delhi to file an affidavit regarding the same.
Justice Ajay Rastogi and Bela Trivedi passed the order after the conman Sukesh Chandrashekar file the plea to transfer him to another prison.
The bench asked the conman the reason of filing plea so frequently at the starting of the hearing.
The court also noticed that he has filed the plea several times requesting to shift him to another jail; he further noticed that his plea was not entertained earlier so, the bench asked the reason of doing it so.
The court said “he has knocked the doors of the court several times. We want to know the reason that what’s there in the jail which is troubling him so much”.
The reason behind this is, He runs a racket even after being in the custody. He also has software which shows the contact number of various Supreme Court judges.
The additional solicitor general apprised the bench that when the staffs of the Mandoli jail are not co-operating, he started filing the plea requesting to change his jail.
Conman also found with the CCTV cameras which he puts on the water bottles and also with mobile number several times. Solicitor also mentioned the fact that the transfer is not easy as he is the conman.
Senior Advocate R Basant, appearing for the petitioner informed that the conman is being harassed by the jail staff several times. The political authorities are going against him without any reason.
The conman has over 30 cases registered against him.
