[i]At the inauguration of the indian law society cenetennial celebration justice Br Gavai said that law practice is not just a profession and empathy is an important quality which a lawyer should possess.
Lawyers play an important role in a society and in nation building and urged lawyers to inculcate quality of empathy and not treat law merely as a profession .
While addressing the students he further emphasized on the importance of constitutional morality along the legal education. He also said that student today have more legal options in their careers than before .
At the same time the centenary logo of the college ,souveneirs ,the abhivyakti yearbook and ILS law reviews were released .
