Job Responsibilities:

• Reading the case files and understanding the facts & proceedings that have taken place.
• Drafting legal documents, including petitions, memos and other applications.
• Attending the court hearings/ legal proceedings and participating (making submissions, arguing, cross examining, etc.)
• Legal research to get the citations or to help in putting up legal strategies.
• Updating the files and the court diaries at the end of the day.
• Organizing the case files and documents inside the case files.
• Staying updated on legal developments and changes in legislation.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• LLB graduates
• Enrollment in Karnataka State Bar Council
• AIBE cleared or Waiting for AIBE to be scheduled
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills – in English & Kannada
• A strong work ethic and commitment to learning and improvement
• Ability to work independently and as a part of team
• Using computer – typing & ability to do legal research
• Ability & openness to learn & grow
