Job Responsibilities:
- Reading the case files and understanding the facts & proceedings that have taken place.
- Drafting legal documents, including petitions, memos and other applications.
- Attending the court hearings/ legal proceedings and participating (making submissions, arguing, cross examining, etc.)
- Legal research to get the citations or to help in putting up legal strategies.
- Updating the files and the court diaries at the end of the day.
- Organizing the case files and documents inside the case files.
- Staying updated on legal developments and changes in legislation.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- LLB graduates
- Enrollment in Karnataka State Bar Council
- AIBE cleared or Waiting for AIBE to be scheduled
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills – in English & Kannada
- A strong work ethic and commitment to learning and improvement
- Ability to work independently and as a part of team
- Using computer – typing & ability to do legal research
- Ability & openness to learn & grow
