Centriik is inviting applications for the position of Trademark Associate for its Intellectual Property (IP) Team.

The opportunity is suitable for legal professionals with experience in trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and IP advisory matters.

Position Details

About the Role

The selected candidate may work on:

• Trademark searches and filings
• Trademark prosecution and objections
• Drafting oppositions, counter statements, affidavits, and replies
• Trademark litigation and infringement matters
• Passing off disputes
• Portfolio management
• Licensing, assignments, and transfers
• IP advisory work
• Client coordination and docket management

Key Responsibilities

Candidates may be required to:

• Handle trademark searches, filings, prosecution, and objections
• Draft legal documents relating to trademark disputes
• Monitor trademark portfolios and enforcement matters
• Coordinate with clients and provide timely updates
• Support IP advisory and related intellectual property matters

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the role should possess:

• Law degree (LL.B./JD preferred); or
• Relevant Intellectual Property qualification

Skills & Knowledge Required

Candidates should possess:

• Strong knowledge of US trademark laws and USPTO procedures
• Experience in trademark prosecution and oppositions
• Portfolio management experience
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and client coordination abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and matters
• Proficiency in MS Office and docketing systems
