Adani Ports and SEZ is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager – Legal. The role offers an excellent opportunity for legal professionals to support the company’s operations by managing legal risks, drafting and reviewing agreements, handling litigation, providing legal opinions, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify potential legal liabilities arising from breaches or non-compliance with statutory provisions in day-to-day business operations.
- Assist management in identifying legal risks and mitigating encumbrances associated with proposed business decisions and operational activities.
- Safeguard the company’s interests while negotiating and finalizing agreements with external stakeholders.
- Handle litigation and dispute management matters in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.
- Provide timely legal opinions and advisory services on business and operational issues.
- Draft, review, and vet commercial agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Prepare legal notices, official correspondence, and communications having legal implications for the organization.
- Monitor legal developments and remain updated on amendments to applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the business in ensuring legal compliance and effective risk management.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- A graduate degree along with an LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university.
- 5–10 years of relevant legal experience in a reputed manufacturing or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial laws, contract management, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent legal drafting, contract negotiation, analytical, and advisory skills.
- Ability to identify legal risks and provide practical business-oriented solutions.
Remuneration
Remuneration shall be as per company standards and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
