
About the Organisation
ISST is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to promoting social welfare, justice, and equality for vulnerable and marginalized communities. Registered under NITI AAYOG, the Trust actively provides legal aid, organizes awareness programs, environmental conservation, and champions grassroots social justice initiatives, especially focusing on child rights, women’s safety, and gender equality through community engagement, education, and policy advocacy.
International Sai Sewa Trust (ISST) has beencommended for theexceptional work and recognized by Hon’ble Judges, the Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Hon’ble Members from NCPCR and the Department of Women and Child Development, along with several esteemed government and non-government organizations. Furthermore, we are working in collaboration with the Department of Justice, Government of India, for our Pro Bono Club initiative.
Internship Mode: Online with necessary local fieldwork
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Academic Background: Open to Social Work students and Law students.
- Skill Requirements:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (experience using Canva is essential).
- A strong interest in social work, legal aid, human rights, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and content creation skills.
Main Responsibilities
The internship spans four weeks (20th June 2025 to 20th July 2025) and includes a variety of hands-on learning and contribution opportunities:
- Week 1 – Groundwork Survey & Field Visits:
- Conduct surveys in areas with prevalent child labour during morning and evening sessions.
- Gather authentic data and photographic evidence on Human Rights, Legal Aid Assistance, Child Welfare, and Women’s Empowerment.
- Week 2 – Team Collaboration & Seminar Support:
- Work in teams (each comprising around five interns) to design brochures, create engaging themes, and promote these via social media channels.
- Assist in moderating and coordinating the National Seminar on Child Rights, Development & Care—including driving registrations and supporting seminar logistics.
- Opportunity to present a research paper during the seminar.
- Engage in content writing, graphic designing, fundraising activities, social media marketing, and donation drives.
- Teams: Each team comprises 5 interns.
- Week 3 – Reporting:
- Compile and prepare a detailed report based on the fieldwork data and observations.
- Submit the comprehensive report to the NGO for review.
- Week 4 – Article Submission:
- Write and submit an article on a topic addressing ground realities (themes: Human Rights, Legal Aid Assistance, Child Welfare, Women’s Empowerment) based on authentic data.
- Get a chance for your work to be published.

- Self-motivated individuals ready to engage in hands-on fieldwork, creative design, and comprehensive report or article writing.
Salary / Stipend
- This is an unpaid internship.

- Certificate of Internship to all active participants.
- A Letter of Recommendation shall be provided to interns who perform exceptionally well.
