About Army Law College Pune, Research and Journal Cell

Army Law College, Pune is a distinctive institution established in July 2018 with a noble objective of imparting quality legal education to the children of our brave, patriotic & selfless Army Personnel. The College is governed and managed by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES).

The College is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and Government of Maharashtra. It offers a five-year B.B.A, LL. B integrated course. Army Law College, Pune, is affiliated to ‘Savitribai Phule Pune University’ (SPPU).

The Research & Journal Cell with its moto “तत्ववेधनि त्यम” , strives to instil understanding of diverse spectrums of laws. The Cell organises various academic programs and series of annual research publications to raise the bar of legal education.

About Faculty Development Program

“Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, calibre, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me.” – Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Recognising the ‘power of teacher’ NEP 2020 has put in place systemic reforms that would help ‘teaching’ emerge as an attractive profession of choice for bright and talented young minds. It proposes several reforms to empower teachers and ‘restore the high respect and status’.

The contribution professors make in reforming learning ecosystem proves to be very bedrock of civilised society. In the light of contemporary developments taking place in higher education, we, at Army Law College, Pune, are resolved to raise the standards of teaching-learning ecosystem.

We, bring to you one week faculty development program, wherein, the senior erudite academicians will guide younger academicians to sharpen their teaching skills with the theme ‘Synergising Research Spectrums with Contemporary Approaches in Andragogy’.

The diverse range of topics across a week long FDP will pave way for inclusive and vibrant teaching-learning methods. We invite you to join us in this academic movement.
