About Faculty of Law
Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow is one of the leading Legal Institutions in India. It was established in 1921 with three teachers. Mr Jag Mohan Nath Chak served as its first Dean.
The real architect was Prof. R.U. Singh who with great zeal and enthusiasm organized teaching and research in the faculty in a systematic way.
He held the office of the Dean, of the Faculty of Law till 1956. He also structured the Law Faculty of Delhi and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The distinction of having drafted the Constitution of Nepal is his to claim.
About the Call for Papers
The Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow, is pleased to announce a Call for Chapters for an upcoming edited volume, “Dimensions of Environment: Past, Present, and Future”, to be published under the distinguished guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Harish Chandra Ram, Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow.

The book aims to provide a comprehensive exploration of environmental studies, addressing various dimensions of environmental issues across historical, contemporary, and future perspectives.

Submission Guidelines
- All manuscripts should be prepared in English only.
- One co-author is also allowed.
- Please Use ‘Times New Roman’, font 12pt. size for running text and 14pt. For headings, the paper should be A4 (Portrait) and in MS Word.
- The manuscript should have all the margins (i.e. L/R/T/B) 1 inch (2.5 cm), 1.5 spaces, and left justified only.
- Manuscripts including tables, figures, and references should be around 3000 words along with an abstract, not more than 250 words.
- The paper or article should be an original and unpublished contribution.
- All rights to the selection of the article/research paper are reserved by the Editor.
- Each manuscript must accompany the undertaking of the author(s) and should be sent along with the article.
- The manuscript should have a page number.
- There should be footnotes using the ILI format of citation and no end notes.
- The article/ research paper once submitted to this edited book should not be resubmitted simultaneously to other journals or elsewhere for consideration.
- The author(s) name, designation, and official/residential address along with e-mail ID should appear below the main title of the paper followed by the abstract and then text respectively.
- No paper will be accepted which is without UNDERTAKING of the author and typed without Times New Roman font.
How to Submit?
You will need to submit your abstract on the form given below this post along with a 50 INR fee at the time of submission.
If your abstract is selected, you must submit your paper within 6 weeks from the date of abstract selection, along with a 100 INR fee. The fee can be paid through UPI.

If your paper is selected and sent for publication in a book, the fee structure will be as follows:
- UG students: 1000 INR each
- PG students: 1200 INR each
- Research Scholars: 1500 INR each
