Bengaluru Court Restrains Media From Publishing BJP MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor's "Morphed" Pictures:

In case: Sanjeeva Mantandoor and BTV news and Others.

An ex-parte interim injunction order has been passed by a City Civil Court in Bengaluru which restraints the media from publishing Sanjeev Mantandoor’s “Morphed” pictures, in front of Assembly polls in the state.

A suit is fled by a legislator in which he stated that elections are near the legislator’s party is expected to announce his candidature to the MLA electorate. However, some wrongdoers intended to harm his reputation in public by morphing his photographs with some unknown lady and started sharing them on social media platforms.

Sanjeeva Mantandoor said that if such an act is fulflled then it will lead to harm to his reputation which will not be compensated in any form. As other politicians will take this act as an asset for themselves.

After going through all the arguments, Court has passed the interim Injunction order restricting the defendant from newscasting or telecasting any news regarding Sanjeeva Mantandoor and showing a live image that is defaming in nature until disposal on merit.
