About the Job Opportunity
– Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including corporate, commercial contracts, compliance, and employment laws.
– Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents such as leases, service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and more.
– Ensure compliance with local, state and regulations relevant to the service industry.
– Handle all legal aspects of leasing, property management, and client disputes.
– Oversee litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution as necessary.
– Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on legal changes impacting the co-working sector.
– Liaise with external legal counsel and coordinate efforts for complex legal matters.
– Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to minimize risk.
– Provide training and legal updates to other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a Master’s degree or legal certification (LLM, etc.) is a plus.
– 6+ years of experience in corporate law, real estate, or a related field; experience in the co-working, real estate, or hospitality industries is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of leasing, property law, and commercial contracts.
– Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
– Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Experience managing legal disputes and litigation.
– High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
