About the Organisation
The JAGARLAMUDI CHANDRAMOULI College gives top priority to classroom teaching. Apart from this, the College
constitutes various cells/committees that are run by the students, like, the Moot Court Committee, Sports and Cultural Committee, JCCL Career Guidance cell, Legal Aid Cell, Medical camps by JCCL OSA etc. The college has an Alumni Association, which consists of practising advocates, judicial officers, judges, professionals, and so on. To enhance teaching-learning practices, the institution organizes periodic special lectures and seminars by eminent jurists and legal practitioners.
About the Moot
After successfully conducting the 1st National Moot Court Competition in the month of February, 2020, 2nd National Moot Court Competition in the month of February, 2023 and 3rd National Moot Court Competition in the month of February, 2024 the Management this year is very happy to add up one more to the list – The 4th Moot Court Competition on 1st and 2nd of February, 2025. Moot Court is going to be developed into a key extracurricular activity in Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of Law, as the College feels that mooting helps law students the best. The College deems it as a right path to reach out to the future needs of legal aspirants and to recognize their talent and help them improve their skills of drafting and mooting.
Therefore, here stands the J.C. College of Law conducting, its Fourth Moot Court Competition.
Location
J.C. College of Law, JKC Road, Nava Bharat Nagar, Guntur – 522006, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Eligibility
The Competition shall be open to bona fide students pursuing 3 years LL.B. Course or an integrated 5-year LL.B. Course offered by a Law School/Affiliated Law College/University Department/ Center of Legal Education recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Team Size and Information
Each participating team shall consist of three members i.e. Two Mooters and One Researcher. Due to an exigency the Organizing College may allow a two-member team to participate in the Competition.
Registration Procedure
Only 32 teams shall be registered for the Competition on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. The Organizing College shall reserve the right of registration To face the problem of last-minute dropouts the college may register another four teams.. It may invite a school/college/department/centre that is not registered to the competition.
Teams shall register for the competition on or before 23:59 Hours on December 12th, 2024.
Fee Details
The registration fee of Rs. 2,500/- (Two thousand Five hundred only) must be paid through NEFT or RTGS payment mode.

Accommodation
The Organizing College shall provide free board and lodging to the participating teams. Depending upon the travel plan of the participating teams accommodation shall be provided from the afternoon of 31st January to the afternoon of 3rd February 2025.
No accommodation shall be provided to the teams from nearby places.

Prizes
- The Winning Team shall be awarded 1) Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of Law President’s Trophy, Cash Prize of Rs.25,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit and 2) Sri Jagarlamudi Murali Mohan Cash Prize of Rs.12,500/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
- The Runner-Up Team shall be awarded 1) Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of Law Secretary’s Trophy, Cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit and 2) RVK Prasad (Sri Rayapati Venkata Koteswara Prasad) Law Associates, Guntur Cash Prize of Rs.10,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
- The Best Memorial shall be awarded 1) Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of Law Principal’s Trophy, Cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit and 2) Dr. Ch.Sudhakara Babu, Principal, J C College of Law Cash Prize of Rs.5,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
- The Best Speaker shall be awarded 1) Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of Law Staff Trophy,
Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit and 2) Yamani Kiran Kumar(our College Old Student and Law Manager, ECGC) Cash Prize of Rs.5,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit. Best Speaker shall be evaluated on the basis of performance in preliminary rounds. - The Winner of the Researcher Test shall be awarded 1) Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of Law Alumni Trophy, Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit and 2) JC College of Law Teaching Staff Cash Prize of Rs.5,000/- and Certificate of Appreciation of Merit.
All the members of the teams that entered into Quarter final and Semi-final shall be awarded
Certificate of Appreciation of Merit. All the members of the other participating teams shall be
awarded Certificate of Participation.
