Legal Vidhiya was founded in 2021 with the aim of creating a platform for individuals interested in the field of law. The organization provides a comprehensive portal where people can enhance their knowledge and grow their expertise in the field of law. Legal Vidhiya offers various opportunities such as internship programs, a platform to publish articles, and hosts interactive webinars and sessions for its members.

This insightful webinar will be hosted by Mr. Mohmad Yousuf Dar, an esteemed advocate, consultant, researcher, and faculty member at the Central University of Kashmir.

The webinar aims to delve into the intricate world of writ petitions and PILs, shedding light on their significance in promoting social justice and upholding citizens’ rights in India. Writ petitions and PILs are powerful legal tools that enable individuals and organizations to seek judicial remedies for the protection of fundamental rights and the enforcement of public duties.

Throughout the session, Mr. Mohmad Yousuf Dar will share his extensive knowledge and experience in the field, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the conceptual framework, procedural aspects, and practical implications of filing writ petitions and PILs. The webinar will also explore recent legal developments and landmark cases pertaining to this area of law.


Mohmad Yousuf Dar did Bachelors in Sciences (B.Sc) from Government Degree College (Boys) Khanabal Anantnag and LL.M from Department of Law University of Kashmir, Srinagar. He qualified UGC NET in December 2013. Before joining the Central University of Kashmir in 2018, Mr Yousuf had been teaching in the Department of Law at University of Kashmir, Hazratbal, Srinagar. He has to his credit one book, and nine research articles published in reputed UGC approved National and International Journals. He has also participated and presented research papers in National and International Seminars/Conferences/Workshops. His areas of interest are Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law and Arbitration and Conciliation.
