Initially the high court gave permission to C.B.I -E.D to summon and ask questions from Abhishek Banerjee as a result Abhishek Banerjee filed a appeal in West Bengal High court to decline the permission to C.B.I -E.D to involve him in questioning in matter of teacher’s employment corruption matter also charged with Rupees 25 lakh from Abhishek Banerjee.
By this act the appeal made by kuntal ghost a individual who was charged with involvements in teacher’s employment corruption. Was also rejected and was initially taken into custody and expressed that he is not being looked after very well in jail.
The Sitting judges team comprising of Justice A.sinha declined to reconsider the decision given by Justice A.Gangopadhyay on 13/04/2023 stating freedom to C.B.I -E.D to question both kuntal ghost and A.Banerjee.which was passed after considering a written letter by T.M.C removing him from party
