Legal Battle Ensues as Trinamool Leader Files Panchayat Nomination from Abroad

The CPI(M) filed a suit with the Calcutta High Court alleging that a Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate had submitted his candidature while away from home for the Bengal Panchayat elections.
