Russian lawmakers have filed a lawsuit with the  nation supreme courts to outlaw the LGBTQ  plus international movement as extremist this is  the latest Cippling blow against the already  troubled LGBTQ communities in the  

increasingly conservative country. Russia’s  justice ministry said it has launched  

administrative legal claim with the Supreme  Court to recognise the national LGBTQ public  movement as extreme extremist and ban its  activity in Russia. 

 The ministry said that Russia Supreme Court  has scheduled a hearing to consider the lawsuit  it will take place on November 30th. The  ministry did not specify whether it was seeking  the closure of any specific groups or 

organisation or if the designation would apply  community causes and even individuals  interestingly. This comes after Russians  president Vladimis Putin said the LGBTQ plus  community is a part of society speaking at the  cultural for forum in St petersburg Putin said  it’s required to show the life of the LGBTQ  community when competing at cultural contest  in Western countries. 

Officials interest that “Non – Traditional sexual  relations” Are not banned in Russia. 

Activities faced pressure from the state, as well  as from homophobic and transphobic groups  often Enduring physical attacking. 

LGBTQ charity boss Dilya Gafurova, who has left  Russia told AFP news agency that authorities  were not just trying to “erase us from the  public”they want to ban us as a social group. “We’ll continue our fight”, She said.
