A report from Pakistan is going viral on X, formerly Twitter which claims that Pakistan is supplying 155mm shells to Israel. Despite the support for Palestine, Pakistan is supplying 155mm shells for artillery guns. Pakistan has not maintained any diplomatic ties with Israel since its formation in 1947. Pakistan had voted against the United Nations’ two-state solution i.e., independent land for Israel as well as for Palestine. Pakistan has written in its international passport that “this passport is valid to all nations in the world except Israel”. Pakistan has always voted against Israel in the United Nations resolutions. However, Pakistan has reached Israel through Turkey for business purposes. Pakistan is also alleged for supplying weapons to Ukraine after Europe and the US pressure. For sending Shells to Ukraine, Pakistan was given an IMF bailout. The decision to supply 155mm shells for Israel’s artillery may come after pressure from the US. In 2020, Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan admitted the US with one more country forced to establish diplomatic ties with Israel under the Abraham Accords. Pakistan helped Jordon’s King in killing 25000 Palestinian people who took shelter in Jordon after the six-day war. Israel’s former Defence Minister Moshe Dayan once admitted that Jordon has killed more numbers of Patestines in just 11 days than Israel did in 20 years. Palestine acknowledged this day as “Black September of 1970”.

Pakistani people may support the people of Palestine but their government acts according to international pressures and interests. Pakistani Government has denied all allegations that they have not supplied any ammunition to Israel. These ammunition were sent through Cyprus to Israel. But, Pakistan has a black history of killing Palestinian people. Pakistan’s government supports Palestine for their interest i.e., Vote Bank politics in their country.
