Details of the Internship

Centre for Development Policy and Practice is hiring a Research Legal Intern to join their office in Hyderabad for 6 months.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct research on topics related to development policies, human rights, governance, among others. Legal research focusing on access to justice challenges.
• Explore and propose enhancements for quality legal aid services.
• Analyze and synthesize legal and policy documents.
• Assist in drafting research reports, policy briefs, and other publications.
• Collaborate with senior researchers to support ongoing projects.
• Stay updated on emerging legal trends, landmark cases, and relevant legislative developments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Law or other related fields.
• Strong research skills and the ability to critically analyze legal and policy issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in development policy, human rights, or related fields.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
