Details of the Internship
Centre for Development Policy and Practice is hiring a Research Legal Intern to join their office in Hyderabad for 6 months.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on topics related to development policies, human rights, governance, among others. Legal research focusing on access to justice challenges.
- Explore and propose enhancements for quality legal aid services.
- Analyze and synthesize legal and policy documents.
- Assist in drafting research reports, policy briefs, and other publications.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to support ongoing projects.
- Stay updated on emerging legal trends, landmark cases, and relevant legislative developments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Law or other related fields.
- Strong research skills and the ability to critically analyze legal and policy issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in development policy, human rights, or related fields.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
