Details of the Job/Internship

Honasa Consumer Ltd. is hiring for the position of Manager Legal to join their office in Gurugram, Haryana.

Role and Responsibilities

  • IPR Management: Managing company IPR portfolio and ensuring brand protection through activities including filing and prosecution of trademarks/copyrights, conducting police raids on counterfeit, etc. 
  • Litigation Management: Drafting of legal Notices including cease-and-desist notices, consumer notices, etc. Managing litigation and ensuring the protection of the company’s interest in any ongoing or potential litigation or dispute. 
  • End to End Contract Management: Drafting, Review, Negotiation, and Finalisation of various business and commercial contracts including but not limited to SAAS Agreements, Marketing Agreements, Sale and Purchase Agreements, lease deeds, etc. Drafting of other legal documents. 
  • Mergers & Acquisition: Provide support for all aspects of M&A activity, including structuring, due diligence, documentation, and closing. Assist in legal due diligence on target companies. Working on securities law aspects of M&A activity. 
  • Responsible for providing pro-active, value-added added and practical legal advice and support to the business and the Company as and when required without delay. 

Eligibility

  • 5-7 years of experience in Cosmetics/Personal Care/FMCG & Law Firms.
  • The ideal candidate should be an independent, result-oriented, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A law degree (LL.B/ integrated L.L.B) from a reputed law school is essential.
  • He/she/they should be punctual, transparent, responsible, and able to take end-to-end accountability for their matters and an out-of-the-box thinking approach.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams in both leadership and member roles.
  • Good presentation writing and speaking skills.
  • Strategic thinker and creative marketer.
  • Result orientation and an entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of accountability and ownership.
