Role description

Hitachi Energy is recruiting a Paralegal. In this capacity, you will be part of our Legal Operations Team. You will actively support the Global Legal & Integrity Team. As an organizational talent, you take care of our customers in the background, handling documents and urgent matters.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Assist lawyers in the preparation of documents including the drafting, reviewing and amending materials such as Contracts like NDA, Sales Contract and GTCs.
  • Assist in editing and proofreading various contracts and draft legal correspondence.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities, ensuring delivery of a document with high quality.
  • Summarize key provisions from contracts.
  • Be part of the further development of services towards the legal & integrity function.
  • Support the Integrity functions with audit and in Integrity investigations: – interview note taking & preparing statements.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

LL.B. / B.L. from a recognized University with a bachelor’s degree in a comparable field.

Minimum 2 Years experience in related work area.

Experience with tools like Salesforce, CLM tool, Compliance desktop etc, shall be preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft O365, specifically, MS Lists, Teams, Word, and Excel.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Great attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills and excellent understanding of contracts and legal terminology.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
