Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Company Secretary with NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) experience, located in Mumbai. The Company Secretary will be responsible for ensuring compliance with NBFC regulations, managing legal and statutory requirements, handling company governance, drafting resolutions, maintaining statutory books and records, and liaising with regulatory authorities. Additional responsibilities include organizing and recording board meetings, assisting with audits, and supporting business operations in alignment with corporate governance policies.
Qualifications
Proficiency in NBFC compliance, regulatory frameworks, and legal documentation
Skills in corporate governance, statutory record maintenance, and board meeting organization
Strong expertise in drafting resolutions, agreements, and company policies
Experience in liaison with regulatory authorities and ensuring audit readiness
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), with preference for additional legal qualifications
Familiarity with relevant financial and corporate software tools is advantageous
Prior experience in the NBFC sector is highly preferred
