About the Job Opportunity
Are you a proactive and ambitious Civil Litigation Paralegal looking to take the next step in your legal career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and growing litigation team, working alongside experienced solicitors on a broad range of property and civil disputes.
Job Responsibilities:
You’ll play a key part in supporting the litigation team with a diverse caseload, gaining hands-on experience across both residential and commercial matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with a wide range of civil litigation files, including landlord and tenant disputes, contractual issues, and property-related claims.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, court forms, and supporting materials under supervision.
- Conducting legal research, collating evidence, and preparing trial bundles.
- Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, expert witnesses, and other professionals to progress matters effectively.
- Supporting solicitors with case preparation for hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Helping to ensure cases are managed efficiently and deadlines are met, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility as experience grows.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- At least 6–12 months’ experience working in civil litigation (ideally with a focus on property or civil disputes).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clearly and concisely.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in developing a career in litigation.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to client care.
- Confident using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Law degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
