About the Opportunity

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), New Delhi is inviting online application for the post of Consultant (Retired Government Servants) Grade-II.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Audit of Spam related Complaints
• Coordination with other government organizations/ departments, for providing Input/Action Taken Report on various References.
• Coordination with Telecom Service Providers and other stakeholders for implementation of various provisions of the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations – 2018.
• Inter division Coordination and preparation of inputs related to various matters such as Parliament Questions, Right to Information Act, Court Cases, Standing Parliamentary Committees, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s/ bachelor’s degree in science/ engineering/business administration/ economics/ commerce /law from a recognized University /Institution.
• An officer retired from Centre/ State Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body/ PSU should have worked as Under Secretary/AGM or on equivalent post or 3 years as Section Officer or on equivalent post.

Salary

Rupees 65,000/- (Fixed) per month subject to (i) Salary of the Consultant will be fixed on ‘Last pay drawn minus basic pension’ basis.
