About the Job Opportunity
As a legal advisor, the candidate will be responsible for providing legal support to HR, Employment functions and verticals across geographies, globally, handling labour matters, employee disputes, recovery matters, and provide support in pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions and litigation management on all matters. The role would also involve providing legal advisory support on myriads of legal matters such as commercial or procurement contractual matters, handling criminal matters etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, revising template service agreements/employment contracts, policies, and related documentation with respect to HR and employment matters;
- Provide legal advisory services to the various HR functions on multiple portfolios such as recruitment, operations, employee policies and benefits, termination, lay offs and exit related etc;
- Provide legal advisory services with respect Labour law compliance, employee disputes, communications, HR protocols etc.;
- Advise/ be part of inquiry and disciplinary proceedings and provide adequate support;
- Advise various clients and stakeholders in the Company on pre-litigation, alternative dispute resolutions, negotiations and litigation matters of commercial or labour disputes, draft communications and liaise with external counsels, police or regulatory authorities;
- Have experience in contracts drafting and review with respect to commercial transactions, on need basis
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- PQE of 5-8 years in handling HR/employment and Labour matters and commercial contracts, litigations;
- Law graduate from a reputed university and qualified legal attorney, enrolled with the Bar Council of India;
- Prior domain experience in supporting HR and employment functions and knowledge of litigation advisory and management is must;
- Legal generalist with experience of working on all types of contractual and commercial matters;
- Prior experience of working for geos such as USA, ME, APAC is a bonus;
- Mix of law firm and corporate experience preferred;
