About the Job Opportunity
We are looking to hire an In-House Legal Counsel for our Delhi Office to work on project contracts and regulatory matters.
Job Responsibilities:
• Drafting, review, and negotiation of agreements (Term Sheets, PPA with captive / group captive/ bilateral consumers.
• Drafting, review and negotiation of agreements related to Behind the Meter (BTM) / Rooftop solar solutions.
• Representations / Presentations / Regulatory Updates in various internal and external forums based on the basic knowledge of Electricity Act – 2003.
• Drafting, review and negotiation of agreements
• Managing title due diligence of land for establishing solar and wind power plants across India.
• Authentication of property title documents.
• Apprising the Senior Management regarding the progress of land acquisition and title clearance and suggesting future course of action.
• Act as a custodian of all legal and title documents and related documents.
• Good in excel for preparing milestones and cash flows
Eligibility & Qualifications
• Bachelor of Law with specialization in Power – preferably from reputed institute
• 1+ years post-qualification, candidates who have experience in the renewable energy sector will be preferred.
• Detail oriented with ability to work collaboratively with team members nearby and remotely, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent inter – personal skills
• Should be willing to travel nationally
