About the Opportunity
HNLU, a UGC-recognized State University, is inviting applications for the prestigious position of IPR Chair Professor under the SPRIHA (Scheme for Pedagogy & Research in IPRs for Holistic Education & Academia), funded by DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
The role focuses on promoting Intellectual Property Rights awareness, research, and academic engagement across institutions and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Promoting IPR awareness through workshops, seminars, and outreach programmes
- Contributing to research and academic initiatives in IPR
- Supporting implementation of national IPR policy objectives
- Engaging with academia, industry, and enforcement agencies
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet any one of the following:
- Eligible for or have served as Professor/Associate Professor with significant teaching and research experience in IPR, or
- IP attorney with minimum 10 years of practice in IPR, or
- Professional with significant recognition and at least 10 years’ experience in IPR, or
- Retired IP Office official (CGPDTM) with doctorate and relevant experience (Level 12 or above)
Age & Tenure
- Maximum age limit: Below 70 years
- Tenure: Up to 5 years (as per guidelines)
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on eligibility
- Online interview as per SPRIHA Guidelines
