About the Role
The selected candidate may work on:
- Trademark searches and filings
- Trademark prosecution and objections
- Drafting oppositions, counter statements, affidavits, and replies
- Trademark litigation and infringement matters
- Passing off disputes
- Portfolio management
- Licensing, assignments, and transfers
- IP advisory work
- Client coordination and docket management
Key Responsibilities
Candidates may be required to:
- Handle trademark searches, filings, prosecution, and objections
- Draft legal documents relating to trademark disputes
- Monitor trademark portfolios and enforcement matters
- Coordinate with clients and provide timely updates
- Support IP advisory and related intellectual property matters
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the role should possess:
- Law degree (LL.B./JD preferred); or
- Relevant Intellectual Property qualification
Skills & Knowledge Required
Candidates should possess:
- Strong knowledge of US trademark laws and USPTO procedures
- Experience in trademark prosecution and oppositions
- Portfolio management experience
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and client coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and matters
- Proficiency in MS Office and docketing systems
