About Veyrah Law

Veyrah Law is inviting applications for 2 Assessment Interns to evaluate candidates for a potential Associate Position at the firm. This is a two-week offline assessment internship to be conducted at the firm’s office in Nariman Point, Mumbai.

The internship assessment period may be reduced or waived for candidates having prior post-qualification experience (PQE), depending upon the candidate’s profile and experience.

Work Profile & Scope

The selected candidates will receive practical exposure in both transactional and dispute resolution practices.

M&A and General Corporate (60%)

• Assisting in transactional matters
• Working on general corporate advisory assignments
• Drafting and reviewing corporate documents
• Conducting due diligence and legal analysis

Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution (40%)

• Assisting in legal drafting and court-related documentation
• Conducting legal research
• Supporting the litigation team in ongoing commercial disputes
• Appearing with the team before courts and tribunals

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Candidates

• Final year students pursuing:
  • 3-year LL.B. course; or
  • 5-year integrated law course
• Law graduates with up to 1 year PQE

Required Skills

• Strong academic background
• Excellent command over written and spoken English
• Comfort with basic accountancy mathematics
• Strong legal research skills

Preferred Qualification

• Prior moot court research experience will be considered an advantage

Compensation

Assessment Internship

• INR 5,000 per month (pro-rated for 2 weeks)

Associate Position

• INR 6,00,000 per annum
• Variable performance bonus

Joining Timeline

• Immediate joining preferred; or
• After completion of final semester examinations

Working Schedule

• Monday to Saturday
• 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Additional working hours may be required depending on workload and deadlines
