Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Master’s degree in:
  • Science
  • Business Administration (MBA)
  • Law
    OR
• Graduate degree in Engineering

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in:
  • Technology transfer
  • Patent licensing
  • Business development
  • IP management

Experience may be from:

• Legal firms
• Academic Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs)
• Industry

Additional Requirements

• Experience in drafting:
  • Licensing Agreements
  • MoUs
  • Contracts and related documentation
• Minimum academic requirements:
  • 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onward
  • 55% or equivalent grade in Class 10th and 12th

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

Preferred candidates may have:

• Registration as a Patent Agent
• Experience in:
  • Market research
  • Data analytics
  • Marketing material preparation

Required Competencies

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Technology Transfer & Licensing

• Developing strategies for technology transfer and licensing
• Managing industry partnerships for IITGN’s IP portfolio

Startup & Spinoff Support

• Assisting faculty and students in monetizing IP through startups
• Coordinating with incubation centres

Agreement Management

• Drafting and reviewing:
  • Technology Transfer Agreements
  • Licensing Agreements
  • NDAs
  • MTAs
  • MoUs

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaising with:
  • Industry partners
  • Investors
  • Legal firms

Market Research & Outreach

• Conducting market analysis
• Supporting entrepreneurship programs and industry events
• Managing IP-related outreach initiatives
