
- The Ministry of Electronics and information technology of India headed by Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and the minister of economy, trade and industry headed by Mr.Nishimura Yasutoshi signed a memorandum of cooperation.
- This MoC mainly focused on the Japan India Semiconductor supply chain partnership which helps to strengthen the cooperation between the two big economic countries.
- It strengthens the government to government and business to business Cooperation between India and Japan.
- Memorandum of cooperation of India is India’s broader initiative which focuses on international cooperation in information technology and strengthening collaboration with other countries.
- A Semiconductor is that kind of material which has electrical conductivity between conductor and an insulator.
- Semiconductor contains compounds such as – Gallium arsenide, pure element , germanium or silicon. It’s has three main properties such as :-
- Electrical conductivity
- Resistivity
- Conducting ability
- Mainly used as a foundation for computers.
