In Israel-Hamas war rages the United States has launched the visa waiver scheme for the Israelis, this service provide 90 days visit for all Israelis without applying for a visa. This program was initially launched at the starting of September and set for November 30. However it was operationalized earlier this week.
The eligibility of this Visa Waiver Program is as follow:-
The Israeli citizen and the national must have a biometrically enabled passport book. The ESTA will be available only in English only at this time and will be available in other languages no later than November 1, 2023.
The President Joe Biden has further remarked over Hamas and Russia that they are both annihilate democracies. For the participation, the countries must have to share the information about the passengers including providing names in passengers lists. The application comes with the fees of 21$ . The Israelis must have the biometric passport, and they must commit to staying no longer than 90 days.
Some of the prominent groups members have objected to Israel’s being allowed into this program because they are concerned that the Israeli government would not treat Palestinian Americans equally.
