Is Rajasthan’s CM in conundrum after summons being issued by Delhi Court in defamation case as alleged by Union Jal Shakti Minister

Recently Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has filed defamation case against Ashok Gahlot (CM of Rajasthan) stating that Ashok Gehlot has involved the Union ministers name in the sanjeevani scam. He alleged that Mr Gahlot in an interview said that Mr Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was involved in the scam and how people become Minister in Modi government.

The very next day Mr shikhawat had Press conference where he denied all the claims which were made by Ashok Gahlot after which Mr Shekhawat has filed criminal case of defamation [1]against Mr. Gahlot.

On March 23, 2023 Delhi court ordered the police to investigate whether or not Mr Gehlot said about Mr Shekhawat involvement in the scam. Mr Shekhawat council argued that all the questions of the court has been answered affirmatively in accordance with the report.

Further the Delhi court issue summons against Mr Gahlot and ordered him to present before the court on 7^th August.
