Details of the Job/Internship

Omniskope, Inc is hiring for the position of Immigration Associate to Join their office.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collect necessary documents from H1B candidates, such as educational certificates, resumes, previous employment verification, and identification documents.
  • Ensure all collected documents are accurate, complete, and meet the requirements specified by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
  • Assist in the preparation of Form I-129 (Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker) and other relevant forms.
  • Ensure all forms are filled out accurately and thoroughly, following the latest guidelines and instructions from USCIS.
  • Prepare and file the Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • Ensure the LCA includes accurate details about the job title, location, salary, and working conditions as required by law.
  • Coordinate with HR, hiring managers, and the H1B candidates to gather necessary information and documents.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed about the progress of the H1B application process.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all H1B-related documentation and correspondence.
  • Stay updated on changes in H1B visa regulations, USCIS policies, and immigration law to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct research on specific immigration issues or queries as needed.
  • Address any legal questions or concerns under the guidance of legal professionals.
  • Provide support to H1B candidates by answering their questions and guiding them through the documentation process.
  • Help candidates understand the timeline and steps involved in the H1B application process.
  • Track the status of submitted H1B petitions and LCAs.
  • Follow up with USCIS or DOL on any pending applications and resolve any issues or requests for additional information.
  • Manage and update databases or spreadsheets to track the progress of each H1B application.

Eligibility

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum work experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to handle detailed documentation and ensure accuracy in forms and submissions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with candidates, internal teams, and attorneys’ teams.
  • Good experience with H1B visa procedures and requirements is a plus.
