ABOUT WORKSHOP

This dynamic workshop is designed to equip participants with essential courtroom-ready skills by honing their abilities in debate, extempore speaking, and case law narration. Blending legal reasoning with public speaking finesse, the sessions aim to transform theoretical knowledge into persuasive courtroom performance.

Led by seasoned debaters, legal professionals, and public speaking experts, the workshop will delve into critical areas such as constructing compelling arguments, navigating rebuttals, and responding spontaneously under pressure. Participants will explore diverse debate formats including Parliamentary and Oxford-style debates, and refine their extempore skills to think and speak with clarity, confidence, and conviction.

A special segment on case law narration will guide attendees in interpreting landmark judgments and presenting them effectively—mirroring the analytical and rhetorical skills expected in real-life legal proceedings.

Whether preparing for moots, competitive debates, or legal presentations, this workshop provides a platform to sharpen articulation, critical thinking, and legal storytelling. By the end, participants will be empowered to command attention in any forum—academic, professional, or courtroom.
