As per the UN, a war between the Junta and an alliance of ethnic minority groups has displaced more than 2,00,000 people from Northern Myanmar. These displaces people had no option but to cross the borders to China to escape from the violence and fighting.
Showing a friendly and humanitarian gesture, China fully supported the displaced people and is helping them resettle. The number of people who were displaced and fled to China has not been duly calculated. But China has made every possible effort to cater to the needs of the injured and sick people and provided them with proper medical aid.
China has a strong hold on the view that the violence and bloodshed happening should be put to a pause as soon as possible, so that the displaced people can go back to their country and resume the normal functioning. It also holds the ground that this war and aggression is affecting not just Myanmar but the neighboring countries also.
According to the UN reports the number of people wounded is stated to be 95 and 75 civilians have been killed including children.
