Aesha Noori is the sister of late gangster and political Atique Ahmad and his brother Ashraf Ahmad. Both the brothers were shot dead in being police custody in the month of April 2023, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Their sister has now moved to the Supreme Court to seek an inquiry on the state sponsored killing of his brothers as she thinks it to be. Not only these two murders but also the killing of her nephew, that is the son of Aqtiue Ahmad who was also shot to dead, she thinks that also to be a state sponsored murder.
According to her, the Police Authorities of the UP are having full support of the UP government which has granted them complete independence to kill, arrest as well as harass the petitioners, that is Atique Ahmad’s family.
