Artificial Intelligence is increasingly becoming an important part of the modern legal ecosystem. From legal research and document analysis to contract review, drafting, case analysis, and Generative AI, technology is changing traditional approaches to legal practice. At the same time, the growing use of AI raises important questions concerning accuracy, professional responsibility, confidentiality, ethics, bias, accountability, and the role of human judgment in legal decision-making.
The webinar will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of AI and its growing role in the legal profession. It will introduce participants to the concept of Generative AI and discuss how AI-powered tools can assist lawyers and law students in performing various legal tasks more efficiently. The session will also focus on practical applications of AI in legal research, contract review, legal drafting, document analysis, and other areas of contemporary legal practice.
A significant part of the session will focus on the practical demonstration of AI tools through real legal tasks, enabling participants to understand not only the theoretical possibilities of AI but also how such technologies can be incorporated into everyday legal work. About the Speaker

Advocate Rimjhim Mathur is a distinguished intellectual property attorney practicing at the Rajasthan High Court. With years of hands-on experience, she has advised and represented a wide range of clients across industries, helping them protect and enforce their intellectual property rights effectively. Her keen understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of IP law has made her a trusted legal expert in the field.

She holds a B.B.A. and an LL.B degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, one of India’s premier legal institutions, and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the prestigious Queen Mary University of London. Throughout her academic journey, Adv. Rimjhim Mathur has developed a strong foundation in global IPR practices, which she now integrates seamlessly into her practice in India. Her international exposure allows her to offer nuanced solutions tailored to the evolving landscape of intellectual property protection and enforcement.

In 2018, she founded her own boutique law firm, ‘Rimjhim and Associates.’ Under her leadership, the firm has successfully handled numerous high-stakes matters before the Rajasthan High Court, building a reputation for excellence and client-centric service. Beyond litigation, she is deeply committed to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship, regularly mentoring startups and early-stage ventures on IPR strategies, filings, compliance, and dispute management.
