About the Job Opportunity

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Associate at Kar & Associates in Bhubaneswar. The Legal Associate will be responsible for handling legal document preparation, analysing legal issues, and communicating effectively within the firm and with clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil, real estate, and matrimonial litigation.
• Draft and review pleadings, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Appear before courts, tribunals, and other authorities as required.
• Manage client relationships with professionalism and discretion.
• Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-up on all matters.
  
  

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling civil, real estate, and matrimonial matters.
• Licensed to practice law in India.
• Cleared the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE) and eligible to represent clients independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bengali & English.
• Strong legal acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent client-handling and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Professional demeanour and high ethical standards.
