About the Job Opportunity
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Associate at Kar & Associates in Bhubaneswar. The Legal Associate will be responsible for handling legal document preparation, analysing legal issues, and communicating effectively within the firm and with clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil, real estate, and matrimonial litigation.
- Draft and review pleadings, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Appear before courts, tribunals, and other authorities as required.
- Manage client relationships with professionalism and discretion.
- Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely follow-up on all matters.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling civil, real estate, and matrimonial matters.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Cleared the All-India Bar Examination (AIBE) and eligible to represent clients independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bengali & English.
- Strong legal acumen and attention to detail.
- Excellent client-handling and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Professional demeanour and high ethical standards.
