About the Speaker

Ms. Harmeet Kaur is a seasoned professional with two decades of industry experience in the corporate secretarial, legal, and financial domains, particularly in the Sugar and Green Energy sectors across global markets. She is a Practicing Company Secretary, Lawyer, Insolvency Professional, and Certified Mediator, bringing a multidimensional perspective to her work.

Since September 2017, she has been actively involved in the field of Insolvency and Bankruptcy, taking up numerous assignments under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016. Her expertise spans advisory and consultancy services to Insolvency Professionals (IPs), Resolution Applicants (RAs), and Committees of Creditors (COCs). Currently, she continues her professional journey as a Practicing Company Secretary and Process Advisor to various stakeholders under the IBC.

Ms. Kaur is also empaneled as an Independent Director with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). She is an alumna of Sri Ram College of Commerce and holds postgraduate diplomas in Business Administration and Computer Applications. In addition to her corporate roles, she is an active consultant and trainer in Company Law and the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Act, demonstrating her commitment to creating safe and compliant workplaces.
