About the Workshop
The rights of women are deeply rooted in the legislative framework of India, guided by Article 15(3) of the Indian Constitution. This provision empowers the government to create laws aimed at the upliftment and protection of women. Over the years, numerous laws have been introduced and evolved to meet the changing needs of society. However, some legislations now call for amendments as they face the challenge of misuse.
This workshop is designed for law students aspiring to gain a nuanced understanding of women-centric legislation and its practical implications.
