Icelandic officials have stated that there is a persistent seismic activity, indicating a high probability of a volcanic eruption in the country.
• The Icelandic Meteorological Office reported that approximately 800 earthquakes have been recorded on Wednesday, with the primary seismic activity centered around the coastal fishing town of Grindavik.
