Details of the Job/Internship

Oister Global is looking for candidates for the position of Senior Legal Associate.

Role and Responsibilities

Legal Advisory:

  • Provide legal guidance and advice to various departments within the organization.
  • Analyze and interpret legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Offer proactive legal support to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters.

Contract Management:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Ensure that all contractual agreements align with company policies and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Compliance:

  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and provide training to employees.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess legal risks associated with business activities.
  • Devise strategies to mitigate legal risks and ensure the protection of the company’s interests.

Liaison with External Parties:

  • Interact with external law firms, regulatory authorities, and government agencies.
  • Undertake shareholder communications.

Policy Development:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies.
  • Ensure that policies are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Training and Education:

  • Provide legal training sessions to internal teams to enhance legal awareness.
  • Keep employees informed about legal developments affecting the business.

Eligibility

  • 3-4 years of experience in corporate, transactions and (preferably) funds practice in a law firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in contract management, compliance, and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance principles.
