About the Speaker

Krina Modi is a dual-qualified attorney, licensed to practice law in both India and the State of New York, USA. She began her legal career in Mumbai, where she completed her LL.B. from K.C. Law College, one of the city’s prominent law schools. Following her graduation, she practiced law in Mumbai, gaining hands-on experience in Indian legal procedures and client advocacy. Her early legal work laid a strong foundation in litigation and dispute resolution within the Indian judicial system.

In 2016, driven by a desire to expand her legal horizons globally, Krina went to the United States and pursued her LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law, New York—an institution known for its robust focus on international and comparative law. Shortly after completing her LL.M., she appeared for the New York Bar Exam, and successfully passed on her first attempt, a testament to her legal acumen and dedication.

Currently, Krina practices at a New York-based law firm where she represents transport network companies in complex auto accident litigation. Her work involves detailed case analysis, strategic defense planning, and courtroom advocacy. In her previous roles, she has also worked with law firms specializing in defending clients in high-stakes, multifaceted legal matters, ensuring that each case is approached with a comprehensive legal strategy aligned with client objectives. With a deep understanding of both Indian and American legal systems, Krina brings a unique cross-border perspective to her practice, making her a valuable asset in today’s increasingly global legal environment.
