ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Advocate Dinesh Chaturvedi is a 3-year law graduate from the reputed Banaras Hindu University and hails from Katni, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his under graduation in History from University of Delhi and then pursued his masters degree. During his days at BHU he was an active member of the Legal Aid and Service Clinic. Intellectual Property Law has always been his inclination and he did his internship from reputed tier 1 firm Inttl Advocare.

After finishing LL.B. he joined Trayambak Overseas, a boutique IP law firm as an Associate. Since then he has enrolled himself in the Bar Council of Delhi and received his Trademark Agent Registeration. His role in the firm has been to handle drafting work, client consultation, representing clients in the hearing in front of the trademark registry and representing his firm at various platforms such as Business Network International.

Currently he is working in the capacity of a Senior Associate, leading a team of freshers. He reads IP judgements on his commute to and from work. In his leisure time, he likes to read, swim, and cook. He is also a prolific commentator on LinkedIn where he posts about the various aspects of the IP law and engages with the legal fraternity.
